HILBERT SPACE 51-13While we are on the subject of Hilbert Space, another drawing.  (Our introduction to Hilbert Space is at the previous page.)  In my research into this mathematical construct, I came across the image below, which is a slide from a mathematical Power Point presentation.  I was, for whatever reason, immediately interested in the shapes.  And so I proceeded with a Form Projection , or what we call a dimensionalization, to see how I might use the gently offsetting geometry as the basis for a transparent study.  All of the tones are with acrylic ink, except for the interior form, which was watercolor.  The image, as you can see, is one of the complex functions of Hilbert Space, and this particular function has what is called a Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space.  HILBERT SPACE REPRODUCING KERNEL
